OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULE

The Great Lakes Gaming 3rd Anniversary Open House is a celebration of the Rochester gaming community.

Doors open at 12pm with a Pokémon Card Trading Session and Pack Opening live-stream in our event room, alongside open gaming in our game room! Get hyped for a Marvel Rivals show-match featuring 585Fighterz vs GLG Staff, and take part in learn-to-play sessions for Marvel Rivals, Smash, and other popular Fighting Games!

The celebration continues with open play on our Computers and Gaming Consoles and a tournament between the best FGC players in 585Fighterz!

12:00 - 2:00 | POKEMON & FREE PLAY

• Trading: Looking for a specific card in the latest Journey Together release, maybe some older cards, or maybe cards to compete in the new format? Join us for a couple of hours on Saturday for casual Pokemon play and trading. Everyone who registers will receive a prize pack!

• Pack Opening Live-Stream with Pokemon Professor D Antonio585- opening Crown Zenith and Brilliant Stars packs!

• Play console games on the couches or PC games on the… well, PCs!

• Two worlds collide: Watch members of 585FighterZ take on the GLG Staff in a Best of Five Marvel Rivals Showmatch

• Beginners: Get a grasp on the basics of aiming, movement, and game sense.

• Advanced: Practice proper positioning, efficient communication, and creating effective team compositions.

FIGHTING GAMES | SUPER SMASH BROS, STREET FIGHTER, TEKKEN & MORE!

• Learn the Basics Workshop: 585FighterZ will get you fighting fit in the latest fighting games. Work together with 585Z Team Members to discover the fighter in you!

• 585Z Combat Challenge: Contestants who have participated in the 'Learn the Basics Workshop' will Compete in a Single Elimination Exhibition for prizes.

6:00 - CLOSING | OPEN PLAY & 585FIGHTERZ TOURNEY

Game Room | OPEN

• Play anything from our library of PC games— from multiplayer games like Fortnite to solo games like Kingdom Come Deliverance II!

• Settle in for some couch co-op on the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, or Playstation 5

Event Room | 585Fighterz Closed Tournament

• Guess That Theme: Participants must correctly answer the Name of a Fighting Game Song or theme. [Max 5 Participants]

• Versus Event: 585FighterZ Members will be swapping from their traditional games to test their might in titles new to them.
